Ivey and Negreanu 200K Bracelet Bet

I was reading a blog post by Daniel Negreanu and noticed he was openly rooting against Phil Ivey. I know these two players are long time players, but it seemed a little strange to me that he was rooting against him.

Phil Ivey out of WSOPE Main Event

Phil Ivey went to Europe and came back with only one place in the money as he was eliminated from the £10,000 Main Event on day 1A.

Ivey gone from £5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha WSOPE event

Phil Ivey entered event #3 at the WSOPE, the £5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament, and that didn't last very long.

Pot-limit Omaha is certainly a game that took root in Europe before it began taking America by storm, so it was only natural that some of Europe's biggest names would turn out for Event #3 of the World Series of Poker Europe - £5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha.

Let's hope this weekend is better when the £10,000 NL Hold Em tournament begins.

Ivey finishes 6th at WSOPE HORSE event

We've covered Phil Ivey at the WSOPE for the past couple days and he was knocked out of the HORSE event yesterday finishing in sixth for £13,750. Congratulations go to eventual winner Sherkhan Farnood

Donev had a flush draw on sixth street, but it wasn’t to be for the Austrian, as Farnood’s queens and eights were good enough in the end, earning him his first World Series Of Poker bracelet and ₤76,999. Donev received £48,125 for his fantastic runner-up finish.
