Phil Ivey takes down Ziigmund

Phil Ivey is back playing at Full Tilt Poker and from the looks of things he is back to his old tricks taking down Ziigmund for over a $500k in pots.

With LarsLuzak, Ivey and Ziigmund at the table, action quickly moved around until LarsLuzak folded at the first sign of Ivey's aggression on the flop. The turn was great for Ivey as he made a flush but decided to check and Ziigmund checked after him, oblivious to the trap he was falling into.

With four clubs in his hand and another four clubs on the board, Ivey was looking pretty confident on the river, especially considering that one of the clubs in his hand was an ace. He raised it to just over $100,000 which left him at roughly $50,000. It proved to be the right amount to lure Ziigmund into calling as Ivey gladly swiped away a $315,999 pot.

The two went on to play another pot where Ivey raked another $200k pot. It seems that Ivey's days of losing money online are behind him.
