Gus Hansen’s PLO loss is Phil Ivey’s gain

Phil Ivey is a master of all poker games. From Hold Em to Pot Limit Omaha to Blind Man's Bluff, he is the man. This weekend his game of choice was Pot Limit Omaha at Full Tilt Poker. He squared off against Gus Hansen, OMGClayAiken and others. Let's just say Gus Hansen didn't have the best day.

On Sunday, Gus Hansen was playing Pot-Limit Omaha on three different tables and managed to drop some big bucks. It appears that most of the big pots that Hansen played at during his sessions on Sunday, he ended up on the losing end.

He had a couple good hands against Brian Hastings for almost $100k pots per hand, but it couldn't make up for three hands of more than $100,000 pots that he lost to OMGClayAiken and Phil Ivey.

Phil Ivey is no stranger to Pot Limit Omaha as he won the World Series of Poker $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha Championship back in 2000. Ivey took down a huge pot here that really sent Hansen reeling.

Phil Ivey putting urindanger in danger…

OF BEING BROKE!

Ahem. Sorry about that. Full Tilt keeps opening up rooms that make the rail birds flock. The latest is Gus Heaven, similiar to Phil's Ivey Thunderdome. It's a $500/$1000 6 MAX No Limit Hold Em table and featured some huge pots Saturday.

The biggest story in online poker today is a three way match on the new "Gus Heaven" $500/$1000 NL Hold'em table between poker titans: Phil Ivey, Urindanger and David Benyamine.

The three online nosebleeders are no doubt hoping for a little action Hansen injection to their session, but for now they have to deal with beating up on each other. During this session all of the largest pots have been between Ivey and Urindanger with Ivey coming out close to $100,000 on top.

It's nice to have another awesome table to just sit and watch.
